First snow in Beaumont

First snow of the winter, looking across the valley

Most of the snow melted quickly and we had

 a hard frost this morning

Beauty bush with frost crystals in the Alazard garden,

and a frosty cotoneaster

with such pretty berries!

Lovely day at the house

Walking around the garden in Alazards this afternoon

The oak trees keep their leaves all winter, they drop

 them when the new ones start to appear.

More autumn colours

Mt Ventoux from the south side with it's mantle

 of cloud. (Beaumont is on the north side)

The village is Caromb.

Hydrangas in my garden today.

A bit of snow

The sun came out later after a morning of drizzel,

there is a smattering of snow on the Ventoux.

 The colours around the valley are changing.

This is the crest of the St Amand in the distance,

and the hamlet of Pierlaud

and the longue saffre
